Not Every Delivery Goes Perfectly — But How You Handle It Matters More.
In logistics, the truth is simple: no system is perfect. Things can go wrong, parcels delayed, miscommunications happen, even emotions run high. What separates a good delivery company from a careless one isn’t perfection. It’s how fast you fix things and how well you treat people when it gets messy.
At Peng Logistics, we’ve always promised fast, secure deliveries. But we also promise something else: accountability.

Recently, one of our valued customers, Mr. Godswill, shared a frustrating experience with a delivery that didn’t go smoothly. And instead of deleting the comment or shifting blame, we did what we always do: stepped in, took responsibility, and fixed it.
What Happened: A Park Driver Problem, Not a Peng Rider
Mr. Godswill had sent sensitive equipment including a phone and some camera gear from Yenagoa to Lagos using a park delivery system. (These are the public vehicle parks where items are handed to commercial drivers.)Unfortunately, the package was stuck for over a week, and his receiver couldn’t locate the driver, or package. Multiple failed pickups. Wasted fuel. Time lost. Business affected. Emotions high.
Here’s the thing: this wasn’t our direct delivery service. It was a third-party park order that didn’t involve Peng riders. But that didn’t matter.

How We Handled It: Fast, Transparent and Personal
Even though the delay wasn’t our fault, we didn’t dodge the responsibility. Here’s what we did:
- Sent a Peng team to De Prize Motors to investigate immediately.
- Spoke to the customer directly, explaining the park process and clarifying the confusion.
- Responded publicly on the post, showing other customers that we don't hide from problems.
- One of our riders even refunded ₦2,000 to cover the repeated transport expenses Mr. Godswill incurred while trying to retrieve the gear.
- Once the item was confirmed picked up, we followed up again to ensure everything was fine.

Lessons for Our Customers: Why We Recommend Doorstep Deliveries
We always advise our customers to:- Use our Inter-State Doorstep Delivery for sending items between Bayelsa, Rivers, and Lagos.
- Avoid park orders when sending valuable, urgent, or sensitive goods. Park systems are unpredictable. There’s no tracking, no accountability, and no rider ownership.
- You get pickup from your door.
- You get real-time updates.
- And most importantly, you know who to hold accountable.
Why This Story Matters
This wasn’t just about one order. It’s about the culture we’re building at Peng Logistics, a culture where we show up, take control, and earn trust, especially when it’s tough.
Mr. Godswill’s situation reminded us that delivery is emotional. It affects business. It affects people. That’s why every package matters.
Final Words
We’re not perfect but we’re here, and we’re listening. If you’ve ever had a delivery with us go sideways, you can be sure who to call, Peng is the kind of company that will pick up, sort it out, and make it right. We don't say partner on our tagline for show, It’s our standard.
