The Bayelsa Logistics Owners Association, formerly known as the Dispatch and Logistics Owners Association of Bayelsa (DALOAB), has declared that delivery rates in Bayelsa now start from just ₦2,000.
What this means
A base fare is simply the starting price for a delivery before extra factors like distance, location, waiting time, and special handling are added.So when the Association says “delivery starts from ₦2,000,” it doesn’t mean every delivery is ₦2,000. It means ₦2,000 is the minimum starting point, and the final fee will still depend on where the item is going and the conditions around the delivery.

A clear base fare helps:
1. Customers know what to expect before the back-and-forth starts
2. Vendors price delivery into products more accurately
