What this means is simple: when you’re sending a package to another state, we can now route it through GIG’s nationwide network, so your customer can pick up at the nearest GIG Experience Centre. GIG has a large centre network across Nigeria, which makes interstate delivery easier to coordinate leading to customer trust.
Here's exactly how it fits in with our service and what your customers get
There are 2 core services we're utilizing GIG Logistics' network to help us tackle.1. Interstate Waybills:
Instead of sending packages via multiple different parks and drivers, our core nationwide waybill services will now flow through GIGL. This means, when we pickup from your doorstep, your customer picks up at the nearest GIGL centre closest to them once the parcel arrives rather than just any park. And for areas where GIGL offers doorstep deliveries, your customers can now get doorstep delivery.2. Nationwide COD & Fulfillment:
Prior to this partnership, we could only process COD and fulfillment in our core states (6 fulfillment states), but now we can ship nationwide from these states to other top areas if you have orders there.Note: your goods are still stored in our core service areas and we're still expanding to more areas but for big cities we don't cover yet and you have orders from, we can now ship effectively.
What stays the same on our end
- We are a dispatch company and still picks up directly from your doorstep.
- We still help you package properly, confirm receiver details, and reduce mistakes.
- You get a waybill number for tracking and follow-up.
- If there’s any issue, you contact us first and we’ll escalate through the proper channel.
